Terms and conditions

By registering for this conference, participants agree to the following terms and conditions.

  1. Registration and Payment
    Registration is considered complete only upon receipt of full payment. The registration fee must be paid in accordance with the instructions provided. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the registration.
  2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
    Cancellations must be submitted by email to [email protected] and organizers will acknowledge the receipt of the email and respond to the request. The refund policy is as follows. Refund requests may be submitted according to the schedule below:
    Until August 17th, 2026 (CEST): Refund of the entire registration fee minus a 100€ administrative fee.
    August 18th - September 16, 2026 (CEST): Refund of 50% of the amount paid.
    After September 17th, 2026: No refunds will be issued.
    Author participation requirement
    No refund will be provided for registrations that are covering a paper presentation and/or included in the proceedings, unless you designate another co-author as the presenter and that co-author has a valid registration that can cover the paper.
    Visa-related cancellations
    No refund will be provided if a letter of invitation has been issued to obtain a visa, unless you submit official documentation from official authorities explicitly stating that your visa application has been submitted on time and has been denied. If your visa application is denied because you did not begin the process within the recommended timeframe, no refund will be issued.
    Registration transfers
    Registrations may be transferred to another participant upon request, subject to approval. Organizers reserve the right to approve or deny applications.
  3. Program Changes
    The organizers reserve the right to modify the program, schedule, speakers, or venue if necessary. Any changes will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.
  4. Code of Conduct
    All participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully throughout the conference. The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed disruptive or inappropriate, without refund.
  5. Liability
    The organizers are not liable for any personal loss, or damage to personal property incurred during the conference. Participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage where applicable.
  6. Data Protection
    The University of Malaga is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All personal information collected is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently. The university implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Access to personal data is strictly limited to authorized personnel who require it for their duties. Individuals also have the right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of their personal data, as well as to obtain information about how their data is processed.
