Terms and conditions

By registering for LangDev 2026, participants agree to the following terms and conditions.

  1. Registration and Payment
    Registration is considered complete only upon receipt of full payment. The registration fee must be paid in accordance with the instructions provided. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the registration.
  2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
    For administrative reasons, cancellations are not admitted, but we are happy to transfer registrations to other attendees.
    Transfer requests must be submitted by email to [email protected] and organizers will acknowledge receipt and respond to the request. Registrations may be transferred to another participant upon request, subject to approval. Organizers reserve the right to approve or deny applications.
  3. Program Changes
    The organizers reserve the right to modify the program, schedule, speakers, or venue if necessary. Any changes will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.
  4. Code of Conduct
    All participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully throughout the event. The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed disruptive or inappropriate, without refund.
  5. Liability
    The organizers are not liable for any personal loss, or damage to personal property incurred during the event. Participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage where applicable.
  6. Data Protection
    The University of Malaga is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All personal information collected is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently. The university implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Access to personal data is strictly limited to authorized personnel who require it for their duties. Individuals also have the right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of their personal data, as well as to obtain information about how their data is processed.
